Traits

Soul Harvest. When Vorath reduces a creature to 0 hp, he gains 20 temporary hit points, and can immediately use Soul blast without using an action.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If Vortath fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead. 

Magic Resistance. Vorath has advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects. 

Innate Spellcasting. Vorath is a 7th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). Vorath has following spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Eldritch blast ( 3 beams), Detect magic, darkness
1st level (# slots): Fear, Blight

Actions

Multiattack. Vorath makes two Soulreaver Scythe attacks or one Scythe attack and one Soul Blast.

Soulreaver Scythe. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) slashing damage + 13 (3d8) necrotic damage. 

Soul Blast. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 27 (6d8) necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 18 CON save or have disadvantage on attack rolls until the end of its next turn. 

Soul Rupture (Recharge 5-6) Vorath releases a wave of spectral energy. All creatures within 20 ft. must make a DC 18 CHA save or take 45 (10d8) necrotic damage and be pushed 10 ft. On a success, they take half damage only. 

Bonus Actions

Bonus Action. May take the Disengage or Dodge action if no action is taken this round.

Legendary Actions

Vorath can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time. 

Cantrip. Vorath casts eldritch blast.

Soul Step. Vorath teleports up to 30 ft. to an unoccupied space he can see and becomes invisible until the start of his next turn.

Necrotic Lash (Costs 2 Actions) Vorath lashes out with soul energy. One creature with in 15 ft. makes a DC 18 DEX save or takes 21 (6d6) necrotic damage. 

Overlord Blast (Costs 3 Actions) Vorath releases a concentrated necrotic explosion at a creature he can see within 60 ft. it take 32 (7d8) necrotic damage, CON save DC 18 for half.

Description

Vorath is a towering, skeletal warlock wrapped in torn shadow-robes that drift like smoke. His armor is etched with jagged, infernal designs-obsidian plates glowing faintly with violet soul-fire. His hooded skull-like face radiates malevolent purple light from hollow eye sockets, and spectral energy constantly coils from his fingers like living mist. His weapon, a crescent blade of void-forged metal, hums with necrotic power, leaving streaks of shimmering purple energy in the air behind it.
