Traits

Keen Smell and Sight. Advantage on perception checks using sight or smell.

Regeneration. Regenerate 5 hit points each rounds. This doesnt work the round after being hit by fire.

Fiery Death. if the wendigo is reduced to zero by fire damage. The curse burns away along with its form, leaving only the dead body of the original untransformed creature.

Hungering Disease. At the end of the day, if the diseased creature did not eat the flesh of its own kind. It must make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw. If it fails, it immediately hunt for it and have no recollection of it. If the creature fails 3 times during three different days. It transforms into a wendigo. The disease can be cured by any disease curing spell or ability, as long as it happens before the transformation is complete.

Stalking the prey. The wendigo as advantage on stealth checks in a forest or arctic environment.

Beast Speech. The Wendigo can use speak with animal at will.

Walk on the wind. The wendigo can fly during his movement. At the end of its movement it falls back to the ground. Its feet always looks like fog clouds and leaves no traces to be tracked with.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., One target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) Piercing damage and 3 (1d6) necrotic damage. In addition, the creature must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become infected with the Hungering Disease above.

Maddening Whispers. Target creature no further then 120 feet makes a DC 13 Wisdom saving throws. On a faillure it has disadvantage on all wisdom saving throws for the next 24 hours and is plagued by whispers that only it can hears. If the target is infected by the hungering disease, it automatically fail the save for that day. This ability recharges at dawn the next day.

 

Description

A Wendigo appears to be a tall humanoid with very thick washed white fur. His pale blue eyes pulses with blueish energy and his pupils are thin blue beads. His head, looks like that of a deer with wooden Antlers. His mouth is full of sharp, tangled teeth.
The Wendigo is an evil spirit of nature. It possesses a humanoid and curses it to a life in the wild as an eternal savage who craves the flesh of its own kind. It is said that the goddess of nature once saw a man kill her prized deer. As a punition the man was transformed into a beast with deer like head for him to always remember what he did. Eternally wandering the forest and in order to survive, since he couldn't hurt animals, started eating the flesh of its own kind.

It has long since been figured that it is cannibalism and greed, that pushes the evil spirit to possess and then spread the disease. those who survived an encounter with the wendigo, gained the disease and eventually will become one themselves.
