Twisted Form. When struck by a melee attack, the attacker must succeed on a DC 14 Con save or take 1d6 necrotic damage.
Pack Breaker. The bear deals an extra 1d6 damage when attacking a creature adjacent to one of its allies.
Warped Resilience. Once per encounter, when reduced below half HP, the bear gains advantage on its next attack roll and saving throw until the end of its next turn.
Multiattack. The bear makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.

Crushing Embrace (Recharge 6). The bear grapples a creature it hits with its claws (escape DC 15). While grappled, the target takes 10 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage at the start of its turn as the bear’s warped muscles constrict unnaturally.
Description
Its hide is studded with bone-like protrusions, forming natural armor. When it roars, whispers echo like a chorus of unseen voices. Aberrant wolves instinctively circle it, treating it as their corrupted alpha. Its claws drip with a faint ichor that burns like necrosis when it strikes.
