Traits

Ancestral Protectors. While raging, the first creature Beatrix hits with an attack on her turn has disadvantage on any attack that isn't against her, and when the target hits a creature other than Beatrix, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack.

Danger Sense. Beatrix has advantage on DEX saving throws against effects that she can see while not blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.

Guiding Aid (3/Long Rest). Beatrix has the aid of her guardians in battle. When she misses a melee attack, Beatrix can, once per turn, add a d4 to her strike. If she hits, an additional 1d4 of radiant damage is dealt to the creature. If Beatrix misses even after adding a d4, her next strike has advantage.

Instinct. Beatrix has advantage on initiative rolls. If she is surprised at the beginning of combat, but not incapacitated, she may act normally in the surprise round, if she enters a rage before doing anything else.

Reckless Attack. When Beatrix makes her first attack on her turn, she can decide to attack recklessly, giving her advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using STR during this turn, but attack rolls against her have advantage until her next turn.

Actions

Multiattack. Beatrix makes two attacks on her turn.

Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d12 + 6) slashing damage or (1d12 + 9) slashing damage while raging.

Javelin. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage or (1d6 + 8) piercing damage while raging.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (6) bludgeoning damage.

Bonus Actions

Rage (4/Long Rest). The barbarian gains advantage on STR checks and saving throws (not attacks), +3 melee damage with STR weapons, resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing damage. The barbarian can't cast or concentrate on spells while raging. Their rage ends early if they are knocked unconscious or if their turn ends and they haven't attacked a hostile creature since their last turn or taken damage since then. The barbarian can also end their rage as a bonus action.

Reactions

Spirit Shield. If Beatrix is raging and another creature she can see within 30 feet of her takes damage, she can use her reaction to reduce that damage by 3d6. The attacker then takes force damage for that same 3d6.

Description

Beatrix Stonefield is angry. Angry at her father for the game he's begun, angry at the monster who took her sisters from her, and, above all, angry at herself for letting it all happen. Not that you'd ever know, so impassive and complete is her facade. But cracks are starting to show, the bonds between her and her sisters stretching, and Beatrix is ready to blow.
