Traits

Unique Movement. The Aigamuxa may walk either on its feet or its hands. While walking on its feet, the Aigamuxa has a walking speed of of 40ft, but suffers from the blind condition. While walking on its hands, the Aigamuxa has a walking speed of 20ft and may see through its eyes on the bottom of its feet.

Ambusher. The Aigamuxa has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that's surprised.

Desert Walker. The Aigamuxa ignores difficult terrain caused by rocks or sand.

Actions

Multiattack. The aigamuxa makes one Bite attack and one Claw attack with either a hand or a foot.

Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +5, reach 5 ft. Hit: 17 (3d8 + 5) Piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +5, reach 10 ft. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 5) Slashing damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it has the Grappled condition.

Bonus Actions

Burrow. The aigamuxa can move up to it's movement speed as a bonus action, or, if it is on sand or loose dirt, it can move half of it's speed and hide in the ground. While hiding it may leave it's feet exposed or bury them as well. If it is completely underground it has the blinded condition. 

 

Description

The Aigamuxa is a desert giant that hides in the sand, detecting movement like the worm from tremors. It sometimes confuses people for wild animals and livestock, but will kill and eat them all the same. The Aigamuxa has pale grey skin, long tusk like teeth, and its eyes are on the bottom of their feet, making it usually run or crawl with its hands.
