Spellcasting. The warlock is a 9th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). The warlock has the following spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Chill Touch (2d8), Eldritch Blast (2 beams, +4 to damage rolls), Minor Illusion
1st-5th level (2 5th-level slots): Alter Self, Bane, Bestow Curse, Conjure Animals (Bats, Rats, and Wolves Only), Dominate Person, Levitate, Gaseous Form, Greater Invisibility, Seeming, Vampiric Touch
Creature of the Night (Recharge 5-6). The warlock transforms themselves into a Bat or Wolf. While transformed this way, the warlock retains their Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. They cannot speak or cast spells, but they can maintain concentration on a spell they had cast prior to their transformation.
The warlock remains transformed for 1 hour, or until the warlock is knocked unconscious or uses a bonus action to end the transformation.
Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage.
Consume Life (Recharge 5-6). When the warlock reduces a creature to 0 hit points, it can consume the last of its fleeting mortality, regaining 11 (2d8 + 3) hit points.
Description
Some vampires become so powerful that they can serve as eldritch patrons to warlocks. Such warlocks are typically the most powerful and favored mortal servants of a vampire, tasked with ensuring a steady supply of fresh blood reaches the vampire.
