Traits

Craving of Flesh. A wendigo mawmoose can smell living creatures within 60 feet of it. It has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on scent.

Trample. After the wendigo mawmoose moves at least 10 feet, it can use a bonus action to move through the space of any creature that's Large or smaller. A creature whose space it enters must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and take 14 (3d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the saving throw is successful, the creature can move out of the way and isn't knocked prone or damaged.

Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the wendigo mawmoose to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the wendigo mawmoose drops to 1 hit point instead.

Actions

Multiattack. The wendigo mawmoose makes one Fist attack and one Antlers attack.

Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Antlers. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) piercing damage, and if the target is a Large or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 17) as the antlers wrap around the target. The mawmoose can only have one creature grappled at a time.

Maw of the Grave (Recharge 5-6). The wendigo mawmoose's belly splits open, revealing a grotesque horde of zombies held within. The mawmoose summons 1d4+1+any humanoids killed by Consume Fallen, Wendigo Shamblers that fall from its stomach into an unoccupied space within 5 feet of it. The zombies have their own initiative and act on their own turns but are allied with the Mawmoose.

Bonus Actions

Consume Fallen. The wendigo mawmoose attempts to swallow a Large or smaller creature that is both prone and grappled by the mawmoose. The creature must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the mawmoose. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, and it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the mawmoose. A creature takes 3 (1d6) piercing, 3 (1d6) slashing, 3 (1d6) bludgeoning, and 3 (1d6) necrotic damage at the start of each of the mawmoose's turns from the gnawing hands and teeth of the zombies within. Any humanoid killed while swallowed is transformed into a Wendigo Shambler under the Mawmooses control. If the mawmoose uses its Maw of the Grave action, or if it becomes incapacitated, any swallowed creature is released and falls prone in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the mawmoose. If a creature is released this way, it is no longer blinded or restrained.
