Volcanic termites are known for their reddish bodies and can cause significant damage to any area they inhabit. They are known for creating mountainous termite mounds that occasionally even pulling magma from the depths of the ground as a heat source, which can in turn cause ecological problems such as poisonous fumaroles or volcanic activity.
