Yes, Mr. Deadly. While Uncle Deadly is within 30 ft., Bobo gains:
-
Advantage on attack rolls
-
Advantage on saving throws
-
Immunity to the frightened condition
If Uncle Deadly is reduced to 0 hit points, Bobo becomes confused (as the confusion spell) for 1 round.
Helpful to a Fault. On Bobo’s turn, he may use a bonus action to:
-
Hand Uncle Deadly a spell focus or component (granting advantage on the next spell attack or disadvantage on the next save against Uncle Deadly’s spell), or
-
Drag an unconscious creature 15 ft. without provoking opportunity attacks
Accidental Menace. When Bobo hits a creature that is frightened, restrained, or prone, the attack deals an extra 9 (2d8) bludgeoning damage.
Bobo always looks surprised when this happens.
Multiattack. Bobo makes two attacks with Clumsy Club or Bear Hug.
Clumsy Club. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
Bear Hug. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 16). While grappled, the target is also restrained, because Bobo doesn’t know when to let go.
Oops, Sorry! (Recharge 5–6). Bobo trips forward apologetically. Each creature within 10 ft. must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw: Failure: 22 (4d10) bludgeoning damage and knocked prone. Success: Half damage and not prone. Bobo immediately apologizes to everyone affected.
Stand Behind Me, Sir. When Uncle Deadly is targeted by an attack, Bobo may move up to 10 ft. and become the new target of the attack instead.
He takes the hit without complaint.
Description
Bobo the Bear is Uncle Deadly’s loyal assistant, stagehand, bodyguard, and occasional spell component holder. He doesn’t fully understand necromancy, but he believes in Uncle Deadly completely, which somehow makes the magic work better.
Bobo is not evil.
Bobo is not clever.
Bobo is trying his best.
Unfortunately, his best includes carrying corpses, standing in the wrong place during rituals, and apologizing while restraining people.
