Enlarged. "Dire humanoid" is the name given by wizard scholars to a humanoid that has been permanently enlarged as per the spell enlarge/reduce. Its size doubled in all dimensions, and its weight was multiplied by eight. Everything it was wearing and carrying when it was enlarged changed size with it. Powerful magic such as a wish spell, a high level curse, a divine blessing, or an enlarge/reduce spell cast into a wild magic area can potentially transform a humanoid into a dire humanoid.
These stats reflect a commoner that was changed into a dire humanoid. A dire humanoid retain its game statistics, creature type, alignment, and personality, except it gains a dire sense (see below), its speed increases by 5, and its Strength and Constitution scores increase by 2.
If the dire humanoid is somehow restored to its normal form, it loses all benefits.
Dire Sense. A dire humanoid has keen hearing, keen sight, or keen smell (DM's choice).
Enlarged Weapons. The dire humanoid's attacks with its weapons deal 1d4 extra damage.
