Traits

Legendary Resistance (6/Day). When Volcore fails a Saving Throw, he can choose to succeed instead. 

Magic Resistance. Volcore has Advantage on Saving Throws against spells and other magical effects. 

Unbreakable Armor. Volcore reduces all incoming damage by 50 and any Critical Hits made against him count as a normal hit. 

Enhanced Weaponry. Volcore's weapon attacks are considered magical and ignore Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing resistance. 

Spiked Body. A creature that hits Volcore with a melee attack takes 23 Piercing damage. 

Siege Machine. Volcore deals double damage to objects and structures.

Actions

Multiattack. Volcore makes four of the following attacks below in any combination of his choice. 

Sword of Mortal Slaying. Melee Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target within range. Hit: 40 Slashing damage, 20 Necrotic damage, and the target must succeed a DC 22 Constitution Saving Throw or have their Hit Point maximum decreased equal to the Necrotic damage dealt. 

Spear of Body Puncturing. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, reach 10 ft. or 60 ft., one target within range. Hit: 30 Piercing damage, 30 Force damage, and the target must succeed a DC 22 Constitution Saving Throw or be Paralyzed. Hit or Miss: The spear returns to Volcore's hand after being thrown.

Barbed Chain Hook. Ranged Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, reach 120 ft., one target within range. Hit: 60 Bludgeoning damage, the target is pulled 20 ft. closer, and receives the Grappled and Prone conditions until a creature uses the Help action to free the target or the target succeeds a DC 25 Strength Saving Throw during their turn. 

Bladed Arm Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target within range. Hit: 30 Bludgeoning damage, 30 Slashing damage, and the target receives the Grappled condition. 

 

 

Bonus Actions

Heavy Slam. DC 22 Dexterity Saving Throw: One target within 10 ft. Fail: That target takes 30 Bludgeoning damage and is pushed 20 ft. back. 

Mighty Toss. DC 25 Strength Saving Throw: One target that is Grappled by Volcore. Fail: That target is thrown up to 120 ft. in any direction, taking 80 Bludgeoning damage and receiving the Prone condition upon landing and loosing the Grappled condition. 

Reactions

Impenetrable Defenses. When Volcore takes damage, he can reduce the damage taken by 30.

Retaliation. When Volcore is hit by a melee attack, he can make a free melee weapon attack against that creature. 

Legendary Actions

Legendary Action Uses: 3. Immediately after another creature's turn, Volcore can expend a use to make one of the following abilties below, regaining all expended uses at the start of each of his turns.

Sweeping Blow. Volcore moves up to his speed and makes a melee weapon attack. 

Whirling Slash. Volcore makes a Sword of Mortal Slaying attack against all creatures within 15 ft., making separate attack rolls for each individual target. 

Crushing Smash. DC 22 Dexterity Saving Throw: All creatures within 30 ft. of Volcore. Fail: 60 Bludgeoning damage and the targets receive the Prone condition. Success: Half damage only.
