Shapechanger. The WereCockroach can use their action to polymorph into a cockroach-humanoid hybrid or into a giant cockroach (use the giant cockroach monster entry), or back into their true form, which is humanoid. Their statistics, other than its AC and speed, are the same in each form. Any equipment they are wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. They revert to their true form if they die.
Keen Smell. The WerCcockroach has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell
Speed Burst (Giant Cockroach or Hybrid Form Only). The Werecockroach can take the Dash action as a bonus action.
Sneak Attack (1/Turn). The WereCockroach deals an extra 3 (1d6) damage when they hit a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 ft. of an ally of the lurker below that isn’t incapacitated and the lurker below doesn’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The Werecockroach makes two attacks, only one of which can be a bite.
Bite (Giant Cockroach or Hybrid Form Only).Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d8+2) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werewolf lycanthropy.
HandAxe (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or Ranged 20/60ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.
GreatAxe (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 3 (1d12 + 3) slashing damage.
Legendary Resilience (3/Day). If the lurker below fails a Constitution saving throw, they can choose to succeed instead.
Description
Were-cockroach upon first being bitten the victim doesn't have much control over his mind or his transformations. The first level of Lycanthropy the cursed is subject to the call of the moon or the eruption of emotions. The WereCockroach will transform on the full moon, also when he is found incapacitated. The WereCockroach will transform and will not know friend from foe. The WereCockroach will either wait till the end of the full moon or is incapacitated in his Cockroach form to find piece. In higher levels the cursed will gain a certain level of control over the beast inside. At Level 2 the WereCockroach will be able to make a Wisdom saving throw DC=14. On a success the WereCockroach will have the ability to not attack his friends and attack his enemies. On a Fail the WereCockroach will attach friend or foe. The WereCockRoach will continue to make the Wisdom Saving throw on the start of each turn. At the 3rd Level of Lycanthropy the WereCockroach will be asked to make a Wisdom Saving Throw DC=12 after the cursed has transformed. On a Success the WereCockroach keeps their mind and will be friendly with their party and know their foes. On a Fail the WereCockroach will not know friend or foe, but will get the opportunity at the end of their turn to make the save again. At the 4th level of Lycanthropy the WereCockRoach will make a Wisdom Saving Throw DC=12. On a Success the Cursed will be allowed to choose their form and will maintain their mind. On a fail the cursed will transform to a cockroach and will attack friend or foe, but will get the opportunity to make the Wisdom Saving throw again at the end of their turn. The 5th level of Lycanthropy the WereCockroach can transform at will and will only struggle at the height of the full moon which the cursed will have to make a Wisdom Saving throw DC=10. On a success the WereCockroach can choose to transform or not. On a fail the WereCockroach will transform, but retain their mind.
