Description
The Blood Dragon is an unnatural creature. Any dragon when in humanoid form transforms into a blood dragon permanently when bitten by a powerful vampire. These dragons have lost the ability to shape shift, and the vampiricnature has changed their alignments and personalities.
The most famous of the blood dragons is Rokar the Red, bitten by the Vampire Count Strahd himself, formerly a peaceful gold dragon. After his transformation, he used his knowledge and alliances to gain massive amounts of wealth, and he currently hides in an unknown lair somewhere across the Swordcoast.
Blood dragons have a mix of red and black scales, with many spikes across their backs. They have red wings and stomach with black outlines.
