Traits

Gargantuan Rage: Each turn the gargantuan beast is below half its maximum hit points, it can choose to gain advantage on all melee weapon attack rolls, but attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.

Gargantuan Resistance (1/Day): If the gargantuan beast fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Siege Monster: The ancient giant squid deals double damage to objects and structures.

Stalwart: The ancient giant squid takes no damage if it receives 8 damage or less from a single bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing source.

Water Breathing: The ancient giant squid can breathe only underwater.

Actions

Multiattack: The ancient giant squid makes one Beak attack and two tentacle attacks.

Beak: Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) piercing damage.

Tentacle: Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 +7) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape DC 18). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and takes 14 (2d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage at the start of each of the squid’s turns. While a tentacle is grappling a creature, the squid can’t use that tentacle to attack.

Ink Cloud (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest): The ancient giant squid expels a 60-foot-diameter cloud of ink underwater. The area is heavily obscured for 1 minute, although a significant current can disperse the ink. After releasing the ink, the ancient giant squid can use the Dash action as a bonus action.
