Traits

Shapechanger. Sebastian can use his action to polymorph into a Tiny bat, a Medium cloud of mist, or back into his true form. His equipment transforms with him.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Sebastian fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Improved Critical. Sebastian scores a critical hit on a roll of 17–20 with The Starlight Blade.

Regeneration. Sebastian regains 20 hit points at the start of his turn if he has at least 1 hit point and isn’t in sunlight or running water. If he takes radiant damage or damage from holy water, this trait doesn’t function at the start of his next turn.

Spider Climb. Sebastian can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Relentless Hunter. Sebastian has advantage on Survival checks made to track a creature, as well as on investigation and arcana checks made to analyze crime scenes, magical residues, or signs of suspicious activity. He can track creatures even while traveling at a fast pace and ignores disadvantage from dim light or light obscurity when doing so.

Maneuverable Combatant. When Sebastian makes a melee attack against a creature, that creature cannot make opportunity attacks against him for the rest of the turn, whether the attack hits or misses. Additionally, if Sebastian moves at least 10 feet before making a melee attack, he can move up to half his speed immediately after the attack without provoking opportunity attacks.

Sneak Attack (1/Turn). Sebastian deals an extra 21 (6d6) damage when he hits a target with a finesse weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Sebastian that isn’t incapacitated.

Reactive Combatant.  For each enemy that misses Sabastian with a melee attack, it gets an extra reaction that can be used for a Brutal Repose attack.

Vampire Weakness. Sabastian has these weaknesses:

Forbiddance. The vampire can’t enter a residence without an invitation from an occupant.
Running Water. The vampire takes 20 Acid damage if it ends its turn in running water.
Stake to the Heart. If a weapon that deals Piercing damage is driven into the vampire’s heart while the vampire has the Incapacitated condition in its resting place, the vampire has the Paralyzed condition until the weapon is removed.
Sunlight. The vampire takes 20 Radiant damage if it starts its turn in sunlight. While in sunlight, it has Disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.

Actions

Multiattack. Sebastian makes three attacks with The Starlight Blade, or he makes one weapon attack and casts one spell.

The Starlight Blade (Vampire Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d8 + 7) slashing damage plus 10 (3d6) necrotic damage and 9 (2d8) radiant damage. If the target is affected by Hexblade’s Curse, the attack deals an additional 5 damage. This weapon counts as magical.

Bite (Vampire Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one willing creature, or a creature that is grappled, incapacitated, or restrained. Hit: 10 (1d6 + 7) piercing damage plus 14 (4d6) necrotic damage. Sebastian regains hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.

Children of the Night (1/Day). The vampire magically calls 2d4 swarms of bats or rats, provided that the sun isn’t up. While outdoors, the vampire can call 3d6 wolves instead. The called creatures arrive in 1d4 rounds, acting as allies of the vampire and obeying its spoken commands. The beasts remain for 1 hour, until the vampire dies, or until the vampire dismisses them as a bonus action.

Bonus Actions

Cape Flourish. Sebastian flourishes his cloak and chooses one of the following effects:

  • Distract. One creature within 10 feet must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on its next attack roll before the end of its next turn.
  • Conceal. Sebastian becomes lightly obscured by swirling shadow and fabric until the start of his next turn. His next melee attack before then qualifies for Sneak Attack even if he does not otherwise meet the requirements.
  • Disarm. One creature within 5 feet must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or drop one held weapon of Sebastian’s choice at its feet.

Bloodthirst Surge. When Sebastian scores a critical hit with The Starlight Blade, he can immediately make one Bite attack against that target as a bonus action.

Dash and Hide. Sabastian can take the dash and hide actions as a bonus action if he moves at least 15 ft during his turn.

Curse (Recharge 6). Sebastian curses one creature he can see within 30 feet for 1 minute. Any attacks he makes against the target are made with advantage, he adds 5 damage to each damage roll he makes against the creature, and he regains 14 hit points if the it dies.

Shape-Shift. If the Sabastian isn’t in sunlight or running water, he shape-shifts into a Tiny bat (Speed 5 ft., Fly Speed 30 ft.) or a Medium cloud of mist (Speed 5 ft., Fly Speed 20 ft. [hover]), or he returns to its vampire form. Anything he is wearing transforms with he.

While in bat form, Sabastian  can’t speak. Its game statistics, other than its size and Speed, are unchanged.

While in mist form, Sabastian can’t take any actions, speak, or manipulate objects. He is weightless and can enter an enemy’s space and stop there. If air can pass through a space, the mist can do so, but he can’t pass through liquid. He has Resistance to all damage, except the damage it takes from sunlight.

Reactions

Brutal Repose. When a creature within 5 feet misses Sebastian with a melee attack, Sebastian makes one melee attack with The Starlight Blade against that creature. On a hit, the target takes an extra 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.

Shield (recharge 5-6). When Sebastian is hit by an attack or targeted by magic missile, he may casts shield.

Hellish Rebuke (recharge 5-6). When Sebastian is damaged by a creature within 60 feet of him that he can see, he may casts Hellish Rebuke. (save DC 18)

Counterspell (recharge 6). When Sebastian sees a creature within 60 feet of him casting a spell, he may casts counterspell.

Legendary Actions

Sebastian can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn.

Resolve of the Nightshade. Sabastian grants 25 temporary hit points to an ally of its choice within 120 feet of it.

Misty Step . Sebastian casts misty step.

Starlight Swiftness( 2 actions). Sabastian makes a melee attack against all creatures within its reach. He makes a single attack roll and compares it against each creature within the area, dealing damage to all that it hits. On a critical hit, it deals the extra damage only to the first creature it hits.
