Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including along ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webs, and it knows the location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +7 , reach 5 ft. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 3) Piercing damage plus 10 (2d10) Poison damage.
Web (Recharge 4–6). Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 13, one creature the spider can see within 60 feet. Failure: The target has the Restrained condition until the web is destroyed (AC 13; HP 8; Vulnerability to Fire damage; Immunity to Poison and Psychic damage). The web is sticky and will adhere to any surface. Any creature that touches the web will be cuaght if they fail a Strength Save vs. DC13. A target that is webbed will take the damage inflicted upon the web if a creature attempts to free tham using a weapon. If Fire is used to free the target, they will take the same Fire damage as the web.
Terrifying Stare: The spider can project a 15ft cone of intense fear. Recharge (5-6). Looking into the hideous face of this spider-feind causes a target to feel terrible fear. Save vs Wisdom DC14. Failure causes the target to become Frightened. Failure by more than 4 causes the target to be [Tooltip Not Found] by intense fear. The target may make a Saving Throw vs. Wisdom DC14 at the end of each round to end this condition and If successful they can run. If they make the save by more than 4 then they break free of the fear and may act as they wish.
Bladed Claws: Melee Attack: The spiders' two front legs have long sharp chitinous blades that it can use to stab targets. +7 to hit, 10ft range. Targets that come within 10ft allow an Attack of Opportunity. Hit: 9 (2d6+3) Piercing damage. Targets must save vs. Strength DC12 or be Prone.
Leaping Strike: The spider can leap half of its speed, or drop from up to 40ft without taking damage to strike a target. A Melee Attack follows where the spider lands close to or upon the target. If the target is Medium or Small, the spiders mass will inflict 1d8 Bludgeoning damage and the target will be Prone.
Block: If an attack hits within 2AC the spider can use a reaction to block the blow with one of its legs. If the block forces the target to miss they must make a Saving Throw vs. DC13 Strength or be disarmed by the blow. A failure results in the weapon landing 1d6ft away in a random disrection (roll 1d6 for direction).
Description
Aragoth is a Fiend within a Giant Spiders body. It has eight glowing red eyes and a black shiny carapace with banded legs and a red ruff around its' head.. Its' 8 legs are covered in a tough carapace armour that has sharp spines and a blade-like claw.
