Traits

  • Predatory Bonds. Once per turn, when a "Vampire" ally enters the fray, Vampire Vamp can target one creature she can see that is physically stronger than her. That creature must succeed on a DC 18 Charisma saving throw or be magically bound to her as a spiritual thrall.

  • Vitality Harvest. Vampire Vamp's attack and damage rolls increase by a bonus equal to the Strength modifiers of all creatures currently bound to her.

  • Soul Sacrifice. If Vampire Vamp's hit points are reduced to 0, she can choose to instantly consume one of her bound thralls. If she does, the thrall is obliterated, and she immediately stands back up with half of her maximum hit points restored.

Actions

  • Multiattack. She makes three attacks: two with her Siphon Claws and one with her Vampiric Kiss.

  • Siphon Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit (plus Vitality Harvest bonus), reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage.

  • Vampiric Kiss. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one Charmed or incapacitated humanoid. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 6) piercing damage plus 21 (6d6) necrotic damage. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken.

Description

She no longer avoids the frontline; instead, she seeks out the party's strongest martial fighters to turn them into her "Soul Sacrifice" batteries.

Using her Predatory Bonds, she effectively removes the party's heaviest hitters from the fight, using their own physical prowess to boost her lethality. She is at her most dangerous when supported by Vampire Grimson, who can use her scythe to keep the Queen’s HP high while the Queen continues to harvest souls.
