Traits

Turn Resistance. The bog mummy has advantage on saving throws against any effect that turns undead.

Aura of Cowardice. The bog mummy's aura, once of protection, now radiates fear. Any creature that starts its turn within 30ft of the bog mummy or moves into this space for the first time on their turn must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they are frightened by the bog mummy. At the end of each of their turns, they can attempt this save again.

Corrupted Smite. The bog mummy's attacks are infused with the tainted remnants of once-radiant power. Whenever it hits a creature with an attack, the creature takes an extra 1d8 necrotic damage.

Actions

Multiattack. The bog mummy can use its warhammer attack twice.

Warhammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 12 (1d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage and 4 (1d8) necrotic damage

Harmful Touch. The bog mummy has a pool of necrotic power with 40 points. As an action, it can touch a creature and draw power from the pool to restore a number of hit points to an undead creature, up to the maximum amount remaining in its pool. Alternatively, it can use this ability on a living creature to deal necrotic damage equal to the amount of points used. This feature has no effect on constructs.

Rotted Smite (2/day). Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 12 (1d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage and 22 (5d8) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with mummy rot. The cursed target can't regain hit points, and its hit point maximum decreases by 10 (3d6) for every 24 hours that elapse. If the curse reduces the target's hit point maximum to 0, the target dies, and its body dissolves into stinking mud. The curse lasts until removed by the remove curse spell or similar magic.

Description

This unholy creature was once a proud paladin, now fallen from grace. A holy warrior who fled the field of battle to save their own skin, they were struck down by their God and cursed to forever exist in undeath, prowling the swamps in a mindless rage.
