Description
Forged through vile arcane experimentation, an Amalgam Champion is the fused body of many soldiers bound together into a single war-form. Armor, weapons, and flesh are merged into a towering mass of overlapping limbs, shields, and snarling faces that speak with a discordant chorus of voices.
Though the minds of its component warriors remain dimly present, their personalities have been twisted by the magic that binds them. Their courage has become arrogance, their discipline warped into violent pride. The combined will of so many fighters magnifies their confidence and suppresses restraint, leaving the creature eager to challenge any foe it perceives as worthy. Once engaged, an Amalgam Champion fights with relentless fury, incapable of retreat and driven to prove its superiority in battle.
Each movement of the creature is guided by a brutal consensus of instincts: one soldier parries, another strikes, another grapples, another shouts commands. To face an Amalgam Champion in combat is to duel an entire warband trapped within a single monstrous body.
