Description
Deathmoths are giant, moth-like insects. Their slender bodies, equipped with six legs, are relatively small compared to their wings, which can span up to a meter. Deathmoths also have a straw-like appendage that can both absorb their food and project a corrosive fluid. When alone, Deathmoths behave as scavengers, rarely attacking living creatures, preferring to dissolve corpses to feed. However, when near a hive, Deathmoths favor tactical, coordinated attacks against individuals, dissolving them and storing the fluids in small balls made of a resin that they can secrete.
