Mounted Supremacy. Once per turn, if the officer is mounted and hits a creature with a melee weapon attack, it deals an additional 2d6 damage.
Run Them Down. When it rolls initiative, the officer marks a creature it can see as a priority target. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties) of the first round, all allied creatures that can hear the officer may use a reaction to move up to their speed towards the target without provoking opportunity attacks.
Multiattack. The officer makes two longsword attacks. If it has a shortsword or hand crossbow drawn, it can also make an attack with that weapon.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used with two hands.
Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Parry. If the officer is hit by an attack, it may use its reaction to add +3 to its AC, potentially causing the attack to miss. The officer must be holding a melee weapon to use this reaction.
Vengeful Order (Tiefling Only). If the officer is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, it may use its reaction to order nearby allies to seek vengeance. Any ally within 60 ft. of the officer that can hear them may use their reaction to make a weapon attack against the attacking creature.
Description
A single Blacklance officer can take command of a large group of Blacklance soldiers. The officer increases the effectiveness of the troops he commands by issuing orders. Some Blacklance officers are human, but the tiefling officers are especially fierce.
