Description

An ancient zombie, left to languish without the living for centuries. Its body has withered to a brittle husk, joints stiff and movements faltering, as though each step might be its last. What little flesh remains clings dryly to bone, and though its strength has long since faded, a faint, restless hunger still lingers within it.

These ancient zombies are rarely found alone. They gather in forgotten places where time and stone have sealed them in, collapsed caverns, sunken tombs, and narrow crypts where escape is all but impossible. Too weak to break free, they become trapped in place, lingering for centuries in silent, crowded decay.

Over time, their numbers swell. Any unfortunate soul who stumbles too close risks joining them, adding another withered body to the mass. Slowly, inexorably, these cramped graves fill with the restless dead, forming an ever-growing congregation of brittle forms, pressed together in the dark, waiting with what little hunger they have left.
