Death Burst. When a blast shadow dies, it explodes into a blast of flame. Each creature within 30 feet of it must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, take 13 (3d8) fire damage on a failed saving, or half as much on a successful one.
Sunlight Weakness. While in sunlight, the shadow has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws.
Multiattack. A blast shadow makes two claw attacks.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 4) necrotic damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.
Cloud of Smoke and Fire (Recharge 6). A blast shadow can, as a bonus action, surround itself with a cloud of smoke that burns living flesh, remaining active for until the start of the shadows next turn. While active, the blast shadow gains heavy obscurement, and all living creatures that start their turn within 5 feet of the shadow take 3 (1d6) fire damage. If the blast shadow takes any cold damage, the cloud is dispelled.
Shadow Stealth. While in dim light or darkness, the shadow can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
Description
Burnt pieces of flesh still cling to the charred bones of this walking horror. A pale light and thin wisps of smoke issue from cracks in its body, as if an inferno hides within, barely contained by the scraps of melted armor and gear fused to its flesh. Two burning orbs peer out from where its eyes should be, and a trail of smoke rises up from its skull. The thing reaches out with gnarled and twisted claws that glow with intense heat.
