Keen Hearing and Smell. The wolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pack Tactics. The wolf has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Familiar. Akali can choose to serve another creature as a familiar, forming a telepathic bond with its willing master. While the two are bonded, the master can sense what Akali senses as long as they are within 1 mile of each other. While Akali is within 30 feet of her master, the master shares her Keen Hearing and Smell and Pack Tactics traits.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Guardian Howl. Akali can react by shielding her master with an attack roll. If her attack roll meets or beats the attack then no damage is taken, but if it does not meet the attack roll but is 10 or above then damage is split between Akali and her master. Any roll below a 10 the attempt to shield fails and the master takes the full damage.
