Description
The arcane anomaly manifests as a luminous being composed entirely of arcane energy, shaped vaguely like a human. It radiates with pulsating hues of bright white, purple, and blue, and its form often appears ethereal, shimmering with a magical aura that seems to warp the air around it. The vibrancy of its colors can fluctuate, indicating the intensity of the energy it contains.
The arcane anomaly possesses potent magical traits. Contact with the anomaly or any physical attack against it triggers an arcane blast, repelling the assailant with a forceful burst of magical energy. Additionally, the anomaly has the capability to unleash a wave of energy specifically designed to disrupt and neutralize magic within a certain radius, making it a formidable presence in any magical confrontation.
Arcane anomalies are exceedingly rare and are predominantly found in places rich with magical energies. While they can appear in nearly any of the Inner Planes, they are most frequently encountered in the Astral Plane, the Energy Planes, and the Ethereal Plane, where the fabric of magic is most volatile and condensed. Mages engaged in deep magical studies often conjure these anomalies within their towers or laboratories as a safeguard, to mitigate any unforeseen consequences of their experiments.
