Darius Thorne

Darius is the only son of the crime lord Silas Thorne, who runs a protection racket for ships in the town of Port Llast. While his father Silas is shrewd, intelligent and wily, Darius has grown up believing that the "empire" his father has created will one day become his, this has caused Darius to become entitled, brattish and cruel. He hates the idea that people think of him as a 'lesser' version of his father, and will quickly fly to rage if he perceives (even if mistakenly) that people allude to as such. He will often use "don't you know who I am" as a threat. He is also desperately eager to prove his worth to his father, and to the other citizens of Port Llast, who he is paranoid think very little of him (though this is actually quite well founded, even though the citizens of Port Llast typically won't say so openly).
