Traits

False Appearance. While the flyfisher remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary bush.

Actions

Multiattack. The flyfisher makes three Vine Whip attacks, uses Reel, and uses Skewer.

Vine Whip. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 15 ft. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) Bludgeoning damage, and the target is Grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the target is also Restrained and has Disadvantage on Strength-based d20 Tests. The flyfisher can only grapple one creature at a time, and can release any previously Grappled creatures whenever it wants to make this attack again.

Reel. The flyfisher pulls a Grappled target 15 feet toward itself.

Skewer. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 5 ft. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) Piercing damage, and the target is impaled. An impaled creature is Restrained and has Disadvantage on Strength-based d20 Tests. The flyfisher can only impale one creature at a time. An impaled creature can either free itself, or another creature can free it, by succeeding a DC 15 Strength (Athletics) check.

Death Bloom. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 5 ft., one creature impaled by the flyfisher. Hit: 50 (10d10) Acid damage. If the target is reduced to 0 Hit Points by this attack, it immediately dies as the flyfisher invades the target's body and dissolves it from the inside. Only Reincarnate, True Resurrection, or another spell that creates a new body for a dead creature can bring the target back to life.
