Blight Spreader. If damage reduces the Blightling to 0 Hit Points, it makes a Constitution saving throw (DC 5 plus the damage taken) unless the damage is Radiant or from a Critical Hit. On a successful save, the Blightling explodes, dealing 2d6 Acid damage in a 10 ft area. Additionally, all individuals within that area must roll a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned (DC 15).
Bloated Body. Any Slashing or Piercing damage made against the Blightling will trigger a spray of fluid from the wound, dealing 1d6 Acid damage to whomever attacked.
Ritual Component. All Blightlings act as 'Ritual Components' for those that can enact/cast rituals.
Hivemind. Though easily controlled in small numbers, if the Blightlings lack a sufficient willpower behind their mindless aggression, they will blindly attack anything around them. However, it should be known that only specific individuals can issue commands to the Blightlings, such as Blighted Fanatics and or the Blight Lords Generals/The Blight Lord himself. (NOTE: This 'Willpower' can come from other Blighted individuals, namely Blighted Fanatics or the Blight Lords Generals/The Blight Lord himself).
Multiattack. The Blightling may use either two Slam attacks, or one Blight Bomb attack per turn.
Slam. Melee Attack Roll: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) Bludgeoning damage.
Blight Bomb. Ranged Attack Roll: +3 to hit, reach 30/120 ft. Hit: 10 (2d8 + 2) Acid plus 2 Poison damage. If the Blight Bomb hits the intended target, it becomes stuck to them, exploding at the end of the targets next turn and dealing the above damage in a 10 ft. area. If the Blight Bomb misses the target, it instead remains on the field and acts as a 'mine' of sorts, triggering if anything gets within 5 ft. of it. (NOTE: The target may attempt to pry the Blight Bomb off of them with a Dexterity saving throw DC 15)
Death March. A Blightling can, as a bonus action, move 10 ft. towards the nearest target it can see. Additionally, if it reaches that target with this movement, they attempt to perform a grapple.
Description
An amalgamation of flesh, corrupted magics, and twisted emotions, the Blightling is everything the Blight Lord is trying to enact upon the world.
Their main use is twofold; To act as cannon fodder for the more potent followers of the Blight Lord, and a show of the ceaseless inevitability that is the Blight Lords wrath. The Blightlings will come and swarm for an eternity if necessary, all to serve the will of a Lord who seeks to drown a world in Blight.
