Traits

Elundari: An Aglesian Dragon's Consciousness is stored within its heart, which can be separated from the Dragon's body. After taking the "Disgorge Elundari" bonus action, the dragon only dies when its heart is destroyed. (If the Body drops to 0 hit points, it still dies, but the dragon's consciousness persists.)

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) piercing damage plus 2 (1d4) fire damage.

Bonus Actions

Disgorge Elundari: As a Bonus action, the Aglesian Dragon Wyrmling can cause its heart to manifest as a small gem within 5ft of it. The gem is the same size as a 10gp diamond, but is a Draconic Creature with 20 AC, 5HP, 0 STR, 0 DEX, 0 CON, 12 INT, 11 WIS, and 15 CHA, and the Blinded and Deafened conditions that has a speed of 0 and cannot benefit from any effect that would increase its speed. It has Telepathy in a 50ft radius and Telepathy with the main body of the dragon with infinite range. The Aglesian Dragon Wyrmling then loses the  "Disgorge Elundari" bonus action permanently. (Even if the Aglesian Dragon Wyrmling becomes another creature with the  "Disgorge Elundari" bonus action, it's unable to take it.)

Description

While most worlds contain the typical Metallic and Chromatic dragons, there are some exceptions. This is one of the many alternate versions of dragon that can be found in the multitudes of the material plane. While they typically look similar to the more common "Red" dragon, they can be any color of the rainbow. Additionally, there are many physical and psychological differences between the two. For example, young Aglesian dragons cannot breathe fire.

This creature is based on the dragons found in "The Inheritance Cycle" by Cristopher Paolini.
