Description
The Archivist Shade is a tall, spectral figure draped in layers of tattered robes that seem woven from ash, parchment and darkness itself, its body barely visible beneath constantly shifting shadows. Where a face should be there is only a smooth void occasionally interrupted by flickering features stolen from frightened citizens - hollow eyes, whispering mouths and expressions twisted by paranoia appearing for mere seconds before dissolving again. Long skeletal fingers trail through the air leaving behind faint black script that crawls briefly across nearby walls like living ink. The creature moves silently through archives and narrow corridors as though gliding rather than walking, surrounded by the constant sound of overlapping whispers repeating private conversations, confessions and secrets gathered from the city above. It does not merely attack physically - it invades the mind, speaking forgotten fears aloud and revealing hidden truths in cold distorted voices designed to break trust between allies.
