Pack Tactics. The Aqua hound has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the Aqua hound's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Amphibious. The Aqua hound gets a plus two(+2) to all strength checks on land and dexterity checks under water.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be grappled.
Charge. Melee weapon attack. +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. hit 5 (3d4+2) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage.
Multi-attack. The Aqua hound attacks two times to a single target, once with with bite and again with claw. this multi attack does not trigger and after effects of either attack.
Lick wounds. Three(3) charges per long rest. The aqua hound recovers 2D4+2 hit points. The Aqua hound can not perform this ability if it or its target is in active combat with an enemy.
Protective. If an ally of the Aqua hound is knocked out the Aqua hound will always attempt to gain the focus of the allies attackers.
Strategic retreat. if the Aqua hound is out numbered 3-1 it will disengage and wait for an opening for engagement.
Description
The average length (tip of nose to tip of tail) of an adult male Aqua Hound is 4.5 to 6 feet; adult females average 5 to 6.5 feet. The average height (at the shoulder) of a Aqua Hound is 26 to 32 inches.
Their coat consists of thick and hollow, scale like hair in dark shades of blue with a single large fin down the center of their backs. Two singular whiskers on either side of their feline like face that travel one third their bodies length. Triangular fin shaped ears the tips reaching back just as far as they whiskers these dual function as gills.
Strong powerful tails used to power them through the water at great speeds at the base of the tail it is three forth's the thickness of the Aqua hounds torso and shrinks almost to two thirds its size at the tip. Near the tip of the tail the scales take on a similar tone as the fin a deep blood red.
