Ahnvae (Lvl 15)

Flyby. Ahnvae doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks when he flies out of an enemy’s reach.

Mimicry. Ahnvae can mimic sounds he has heard. A creature can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 19 Wisdom (Insight) check.

Sneak Attack (1/Turn). Ahnvae deals an extra 28 (8d6) damage when he hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Ahnvae that isn't incapacitated.

Evasion. When Ahnvae is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds, and only half damage if he fails.

Reliable Talent Whenever Ahnvae makes an ability check that lets him add his proficiency bonus (such as Stealth, Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, or Perception), he can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Slippery Mind Ahnvae possesses profound mental resilience. He has proficiency in Wisdom saving throws, fortifying him against charm, fear, and psychic manipulation.

Shadow Glide Ahnvae can cast Misty Step twice per day, requiring no components. He magically teleports up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space he can see.

Multiattack. Ahnvae makes two Talons attacks. If both hit the same target, the target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked Prone.

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) slashing damage.

Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) piercing damage.

Spellcasting. Ahnvae casts one of the following spells, requiring no components (Wisdom, Save DC 15):

• At Will: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic, Minor Illusion

• 2/Day each: Clairvoyance, Invisibility (Self Only)

Uncanny Dodge. Ahnvae halves the damage that he takes from an attack that hits him. He must be able to see the attacker.

Ahnvae can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Ahnvae regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

• Wing Buffet. Ahnvae beats his wings. Each creature within 5 feet of him must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. Ahnvae can then fly up to half his fly speed.

• Go For the Eyes (Costs 2 Actions). Ahnvae makes two Beak attacks against a single creature. If at least one hits, the target takes damage and must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or be Blinded until the end of its next turn.

• Cloak of Shadows (Costs 3 Actions). Ahnvae becomes Invisible until he attacks or casts a spell. While invisible in this way, he has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
