Description
The Ashen Servants are burned remnants of attendants and caretakers, their flesh reduced to cracked charcoal-like husks with embers glowing faintly beneath blackened skin and melted uniforms. They drift silently through ruined halls carrying tarnished trays, lanterns and cleaning tools fused permanently into their hands, endlessly repeating fragments of their former duties with horrifying politeness. Unlike mindless undead, they bow to intruders, straighten shattered furniture and whisper formal greetings in soft broken voices even while clawing at flesh or dragging victims towards burning chambers, forever trapped re-enacting the final moments before catastrophe consumed both their home and humanity.
