Thermal Vision 30 ft.
Topside (25 AC), Underside (10 AC)
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack:
+14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d8 + 9) piercing damage. If the target is a large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the Hell Striker. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the Hell Striker, and it takes 21 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of the Hell Striker's turns.
If the Hell Striker takes 30 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the Hell Striker must succeed on a DC 21 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the Hell Striker. If the Hell Striker dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 20 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Tail Swipe. The beast targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of itself. The target and everyone within 20 feet of the target must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw being knocked prone on a failed save taking 15 (2d10+4) bludgeoning damage, on a successful one the creature successfully avoids being knocked prone taking half as much damage.
Description
Typically, Ancient Hell Strikers tend to be about 60 ft. long and about 10-30ft. wide but some have been claimed to be seen even bigger.
They have very tough scales on their topside, but the underside is more vulnerable to damage as well as a critical weak spot, ergo it is HIGHLY recommended to strike at the underside to quickly take out these beasts. It is also recommended to keep in mind that their bite can easily break through stone.
Ancient Hell Strikers are able to dig through solid stone and tend to hunt on their own due to their immense size.
