Traits
False Appearance. While the Abbiscus remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary tropical hibiscus plant.
Regeneration. The Abbiscus regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point. If the Abbiscus takes fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of its next turn.
Actions
Multiattack. The Abbiscus makes two Vine Whip attacks.
Vine Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) poison damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Abbiscus can't use this vine on another target.
Charming Pollen (Recharge 5–6). The Abbiscus releases a cloud of sweet-smelling spores in a 20-foot radius. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the Abbiscus for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Bonus Actions

Viny Shield. When a creature within 10 feet of the Abbiscus makes an attack against it, the Abbiscus can use its reaction to raise a wall of thick vines. This grants it a +3 bonus to its Armor Class against that attack. If the attack misses, the attacker must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or become grappled by the vines.

Description

The Abbiscus is a predatory, giant tropical plant known for its deceptively beautiful crimson flowers and sweet scent. It thrives in dense jungles or the manicured gardens of eccentric nobles who keep it as a deadly security measure. It feeds on small animals and unwary travelers who are lured in by its charming spores, using its roots and creeping vines to drag unconscious prey beneath the soil to decompose.
