Traits

Pack Tactics. The scavenger has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the scavenger’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.

Hoarder's Greed. If the scavenger is within 5 feet of an unowned object worth gold or gems, it can use an object interaction to scoop it into its sack. It prioritizes capturing resources over its own personal safety unless actively taking heavy damage.

Actions

Rusty Cleaver. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Ozone Arc-Projector. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d8) lightning damage.

Sack-Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be pushed 5 feet away from the scavenger.

Bonus Actions

Desperate Scramble. The scavenger can take the Dash or Disengage action as a bonus action. It can only use this option if it is carrying a sack containing stolen loot.

Reactions

Sack Shield. When a creature hits the scavenger with a melee attack, the scavenger can interpose its heavy sack of loot between itself and the blow. The scavenger gains a +2 bonus to its AC against the triggering attack. If the attack still hits, one random non-magical art object or gemstone inside the sack is permanently destroyed.

Description

They possess hollow, dead eyes fixed entirely on extracting value from anything they touch.
