Arcane Energy. One random Wizard spell from 1st to 3rd level is selected and cast. If casting time is longer than 1 action, it is rerolled from the same spell level (roll 1d6, 1-2 is level 1, 3-4 is level 3, 5-6 is level 3) or 1 Wizard cantrip can be cast instead. Spell save DC is 14 and uses Intelligence for spell casting.
Sheld: Can cast Shield once per day.
Description
A bookblight is a creation under the control of a wizard or sorcerer. Twice the size of an average human, it has a humanoid shape and appears to be made of spindled, folded book pages - a librarian's folly. Its "skin" has all manner of writing adorning it from head to toe. As it receives commands from its controller, writing will appear to scroll across the bookblight's body as if receiving a telegraph. When it casts Arcane Energy, portions of the writing adorning its body will glow faintly.
