Ancient Memory. Aurelian cannot be surprised. He has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws.
Perfect Recall. Aurelian automatically succeeds on Intelligence checks related to history, arcana, religion, navigation, languages, civilizations, celestial bodies, or planar knowledge.
Timeless Survivor. Aurelian does not age and cannot be magically aged. He is immune to effects that would alter his memories, erase his identity, or rewrite his past.
Celestial Cartographer. Aurelian always knows his location, direction, and distance to any place he has previously visited, regardless of plane or world.
Aura of Perspective. Creatures within 30 feet of Aurelian have disadvantage on saving throws against being charmed or calmed by him. Allied creatures within the aura gain advantage on Wisdom saving throws.
Master of the Long Dusk. Aurelian's spellcasting ignores resistance to radiant, force, psychic, and divination damage.
Innate Spellcasting. Aurelian's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 23, +15 to hit with spell attacks). He requires no material components.

Memory Unbound (Recharge 5-6). Aurelian forces one creature he can see within 90 feet to confront the weight of ages. The target must make a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes 55 (10d10) psychic damage, is stunned until the end of its next turn, and is overwhelmed by visions of forgotten civilizations. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not stunned.
Stars Remember. Aurelian chooses up to three creatures he can see within 60 feet. Each target gains 30 temporary hit points, may immediately end one condition affecting it, and can use its reaction to move up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Step Through Memory. Aurelian teleports up to 60 feet to a space he can see.
Shared Remembrance. One ally within 60 feet gains advantage on its next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
I've Seen This Before. When a creature Aurelian can see makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, he imposes disadvantage on the roll. He can use this reaction three times and regains all uses at the start of his turn.
Timeless Deflection. When Aurelian takes damage, he reduces the damage by 30.
Aurelian can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn.
Move. Aurelian uses Step Through Memory.
Starlight Bolt. Aurelian makes one Starlight Bolt attack.
Grant Perspective (Costs 2 Actions). One ally within 60 feet immediately rerolls a failed saving throw.
Forgotten Age (Costs 3 Actions). Aurelian targets one creature he can see within 90 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or become incapacitated until the end of its next turn as it experiences centuries of lost memories.
Description
Aurelian could absolutely win a fight if forced into one, but whose greatest value is information. The party should leave interactions with him thinking, "That may have been the most knowledgeable person we have ever met," rather than, "That was an archmage with pointy ears." His abilities are built around foresight, memory, guidance, survival, and perspective rather than raw destructive power.
- Knows the Iron Brig still exists somewhere beneath Athas.
- Believes the prison was never completely destroyed.
- Suspects the Heart of the Sun and the Iron Brig were never meant to exist on the same world.
