Description
The Banneret, or as it is regularly referred to among the veterans of the Atlas Military, the "Hammerettes," were tall humanoid mechanical constructs intended to supplement an average soldier, serving as both a mid-sized heavy weapons platform and useful diversionary tool in the event of attacks. The Banneret is typically outfitted with a diverse weapon kit, including a heavy rifle, an oversized maul for melee fighting, and a grenade launcher mounted in a small weapon pod over the shoulder of the machine.
Some later models incorporated weapon changes, such as wrist-mounted blades, tower shields, and even flamethrowers.
