Fanatical Devotion
While the Bacchae is within 30 feet of a friendly Maenad, it gains a +2 bonus to AC and has advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
Chorus of Ecstasy
While the Bacchae is within 10 feet of at least one other Bacchae, each Bacchae has advantage on Constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration and deals an additional 2 (1d4) psychic damage with its weapon attacks.
Reveler's Grace
The Bacchae ignores difficult terrain and has advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
Multiattack
The Bacchae makes two Kopis attacks, or one Kopis attack and uses Inspiring Chorus.
Kopis
Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage plus 4 (1d8) psychic damage.
If the target is frightened or charmed, it takes an additional 4 (1d8) psychic damage.
Maddening Chorus (Recharge 5–6)
The Bacchae removes its theatrical mask and unleashes a supernatural song of celebration and madness.
Each creature of the Bacchae's choice within 15 feet that can hear it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or become overwhelmed until the end of its next turn.
While overwhelmed:
- The creature cannot take reactions.
- The creature has disadvantage on its next attack roll.
- The creature cannot willingly move closer to the Bacchae or another creature affected by this ability.
Inspiring Chorus
The Bacchae raises its voice in praise of Thereon, filling nearby allies with unnatural confidence.
One ally within 30 feet that can hear the Bacchae gains one of the following benefits until the start of the Bacchae's next turn:
- Advantage on its next attack roll.
- 10 temporary hit points.
- Immediately move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Vintage of Thereon (2/Day)

The target regains 18 (4d8) hit points and can immediately end either the charmed or frightened condition.
Dance of Thereon
The Bacchae moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
If it ends this movement within 5 feet of an ally, that ally gains advantage on its next attack roll before the start of the Bacchae's next turn.
Fanatical Intercession
When a friendly Maenad within 30 feet is hit by an attack the Bacchae can see, the Bacchae may move up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
If it ends this movement adjacent to the Maenad, the Bacchae becomes the target of the triggering attack instead.
Ecstatic Sacrifice (1/Day)
When the Bacchae is reduced to 0 hit points, it chooses one allied creature within 30 feet.
That creature regains 20 hit points and may immediately move up to half its speed or make one weapon attack as a reaction.
The Bacchae collapses into a pile of wine-stained cloth, ivy, and shattered ceramic from its ritual cup.

Description
Bacchae are the chosen revelers who serve beneath the Maenads of Thereon. Unlike their priestesses, they do not carry the sacred thyrsus or command the mysteries of the cult. Instead, they serve as ecstatic warriors, wielding curved kopis blades and wearing ornate theater masks that embody the emotions of their god's endless celebration.
Their dances inspire allies, their songs fracture the minds of enemies, and their devotion is so complete that they willingly die to preserve the revelry.
