Description
The Arpenter is a twelve foot tall monster almost as wide as it is tall with one large eye and two more eyes on the ends of the four foot long stalks. The Arpenters mouth is thin and long with crooked, long, and jagged teeth sticking out like a crocodiles. The Arpenters most lethal weapon though lies in its three tails. One thirty foot long tail ending in grasping, finger like appendages that allow the Arpenter to grapple with its enemies and keep them at bay or bring it to them depending on its wants. This long tail is flanked by two other, shorter tails. One ending in a compact ball and the other ending in a large spike like a spear head. The Arpenter can also spew blue fire balls from its mouth at will, scorching opponents from far. The Arpenter is a seclusive creature like that of a Beholder except it is much more sane. The Arpenter prefers to focus on survival than pick a specific alignment although it is plenty smart enough to do so. The Arpenter kills to eat and nothing more, and, although it is socially awkward, the monster will prefer to make an alliance over an enemy.
