The monster makes three attacks of it's choice. .

Necrotic Slam (Melee)

+6 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target
Hit: 2d8 + 4 bludgeoning + 1d8 necrotic damage

  • On hit, faint black veins briefly spread from the impact point.

Lashing Limb (Ranged)

+5 to hit, range 30 ft, one target

Necrotic spores burst from the tree’s bark:

  • On a hit, the target makes a DC14 STR SAVE - on a fail, the target is pushed 10ft back - on a pass, the target is unaffected.
Bonus Actions

Creeping Advance

The tree shifts unnaturally, dragging itself across the battlefield.

  • The tree moves up to 15 ft without provoking opportunity attacks
  • It can move through difficult terrain without penalty during this movement

Grave Sap Renewal

The tree draws necrotic energy through its roots, feeding on death in the soil.

  • The tree regains 1d8 + 4 hit points

Description

The tree looks dead—but then it moves. Its blackened bark splits as faint, ghostly faces press beneath the surface, silently screaming. Roots drag through the soil like grasping hands, and the air turns cold with the stench of decay as its limbs stretch unnaturally toward you.

Animated and revived by the God of Necromancy Velsharoon - this undead awakened trees eyes glow bright with a purple flame as it looks to serve it's master.

Their first rising from Velsharoon requires an alive body to posses and grow from.

Their second rising requires minimum 5ft of water grow from.
