Description
On the sword coast, just north of Neverwinter, just on the edge of the neverwinter wood, there is a small settlement of gnomes. Next to this settlement is the tiniest swamp you've ever seen. This swamp is named Bartholomew's Bogg, a small sign on the side of the road says so, a sign created by the gnomes that found it. This Bogg became haunted by an unknown force that terrorized the local gnomish children that liked to play there.
Fearing for the children the gnomes hired a traveling witch named Connie Swindler to exorcise the spirit for them. They paid her up front and she did her best, then got tf out of there.
Connie is no good at exorcisms. What she actually did was erase the spirits memory and bind it to the water of the Bogg and the life there in.
A few days later some of the waters began to stir and a form rose out of them. A singular fish along with the swampy water around it came to life and shlumped towards town, deciding that the sign it saw in its birthplace was its name: Bartholomew's Bogg.
Bogg has barely any memory of the time before it was bound, but it does remember Connie's face, and it thinks shes the one that created it.
It spend some time among the gnomes, learning how to hunt for food, and commune with nature along with the druidic gnomes.
One day the gnomes came under siege, **a general of the monster king** destroyed their village and Bogg was the only one who was able to hide from its wrath.
Now Bogg searches, searches for his mother, searches for who he is, and searches for vengence.
