Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage. If the target is Small or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the chultan eagle can automatically hit the target with its beak, and the chultan eagle can't grapple another target.
Description
The chultan eagle likes to show off its power by crushing the skulls of small beasts, then eating them. A chultan eagle can grab a prey of 40 pounds or less in flight and fly off without landing. Mostly found around the Chultan peninsula, the chultan eagle has been spotted as far north as Amn (Sword Coast).
