Traits

Slime Body. The Frog Dragon has advantage on athletics checks when other creatures try and grapple them.

Amphibious. The Frog Dragon can breathe air and water.

Toady Camouflage. The Frog Dragon has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in the swamp and mountainous terrain.

Legendary Resistance (2/day). If the Frog Dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Long Legs. The Frog Dragon's long jump is 40 ft and its high jump is 30 without the need of a running start.

Actions

Multiattack. The Frog Dragon can use its Aura of Decay. The Frog Dragon makes three attacks, one bite and two claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) fire damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the frog can't bite another target.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 7) slashing damage.

Tongue. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 30 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage, the target must then make a DC 17 Strength Saving Throw or be pulled towards the Frog Dragon and are grappled by it (Escape DC 17).

Swallow. The Frog Dragon makes one bite attack against a large or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the frog, and it takes 5 (2d6) fire damage at the start of each of the Frog Dragon's turns. The Frog Dragon can have only 2 targets swallowed at a time. If the Frog Dragon dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 ft. of movement, exiting prone.

Oily Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Frog Dragon exhales fire in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 63 (18d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that fail their DEX Save are covered in oil, making them vulnerable to fire damage until they take an action to remove it.

Deafening Croak (Recharge 5-6). The Frog Dragon croaks in a 50-foot radius around itself, any creatures in this radius take 42 (10d6 + 7) thunder damage, and are deafened for 2 rounds unless they make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw to take half damage and not be deafened.

Aura of Decay. Each creature of the Frog Dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the Frog Dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or take 20 (3d8 + 7) poison damage and become poisoned for a minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Frog Dragon's Aura of Decay for the next 24 hours.

Legendary Actions

The monster can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The monster regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Bite (Legendary Action). Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6 + 7) fire damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the frog can't bite another target.

Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The Frog Dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 ft. of the Frog Dragon must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (2d6 + 7) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The Frog Dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
