Traits

Innate Spellcasting. Betty's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 12). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: friends, mage hand, mind sliver, prestidigitation

Mimicry. The hag can mimic animal sounds and humanoid voices. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 14 Wisdom (Insight) check.

Spellcasting. Betty is a 9th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). Betty has the following spells prepared:

1st level (4 slots): charm person, goodberry, tasha's caustic brew

2nd level (3 slots): heat metal, levitate, scorching ray

3rd level (3 slots): bestow curse, counterspell, hypnotic pattern

4th level (3 slots): fabricate, stoneskin

5th level (2 slots): dominate person

Actions

Quarterstaff (Shaped like a large paddle/whisk). Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage, or 12 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands.

Illusory Appearance. The hag covers herself and anything she is wearing or carrying with a magical illusion that makes her look like another creature of her general size and humanoid shape. The illusion ends if the hag takes a bonus action to end it or if she dies.

The changes wrought by this effect fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, the hag could appear to have smooth skin, but someone touching her would feel her rough flesh. Otherwise, a creature must take an action to visually inspect the illusion and succeed on a DC 20 Intelligence (Investigation) check to discern that the hag is disguised.

Invisible Passage. The hag magically turns invisible until she attacks or casts a spell, or until her concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell). While invisible, she leaves no physical evidence of her passage, so she can be tracked only by magic. Any equipment she wears or carries is invisible with her.

Description

Betty, the Hag of the Orchard makes her home at the edge of various forests that are near to civilization, making her home in an enchanted orchard.

Obsession with Nostalgia. Betty revels in the wistful sighs and yearnings of other creatures. She derives joy from bringing people tempting people with that they most crave from days past, trapping them in delusions of time gone by.

Lair and Lair Actions

Cloud of Reminiscing. At the top of the initiative counter (20), Betty can summon a cloud of nostalgic scents that can affect three people that she can see. Each of these creatures must make a successful DC 10 Wisdom Saving throw, or be
