Malleable Coils. The dragon's serpentine body can move through a space as narrow as 5 feet wide without squeezing.
Wingless Flight. The dragon flies by supernatural means; it needs no wings to stay aloft and it hovers.
Innate Spellcasting. The dragon can innately destroy water at will (as the destroy water effect), requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.
Multiattack. The dragon makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.

Desiccating Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales a storm of razor salt crystals in a 60-foot cone. A creature that fails the save is desiccated and can't regain hit points until the end of its next turn.

Description
A salt dragon is a serpentine, whiskered dragon in the manner of the lung dragons of the east — no wings, all grace, flying on something older than air. Its scales are white crystal, its breath is a storm of razor salt, and where it lairs the water turns brackish and the dead do not decay. The great salt dragons roost in the crystalline peaks of the Saltspine, jealously guarding their mineral hoards and their perfect, terrible palates.
Lair and Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects:
- Crystalline Eruption. Salt spikes erupt from the ground in a 20-foot-radius area the dragon can see. Each creature there must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (4d6) piercing damage.
- Blinding Glare. Light blazes off the salt flats. Each creature the dragon chooses within 120 feet must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until initiative count 20 on the next round.
- Desiccating Wind. A dry wind howls through the lair. Until initiative count 20 on the next round, creatures in the lair can't regain hit points.
