Traits

Flourishing Rot. Whenever the blighted myconid takes Necrotic or Poison damage, it heals for the total damage taken.

Sun Sickness. While in direct sunlight, the blighted myconid has Disadvantage on D20 Tests. The blighted myconid dies if it spends more than 1 hour in sunlight.

Festering Spores. Upon death, the blighted myconid releases spores at a Medium or Small corpse within 30 feet of it that wasn't a Construct or an Undead if it isn't in direct sunlight.

In 24 hours, the corpse rises as a Blighted Myconid. The corpse stays animate for 1d4 + 1 weeks or until destroyed, and it can't be animated again in this way.

Actions

Multiattack. The blighted myconid makes one Slam attack, a Claw attack, and uses Debilitating Spores.

Slam. Melee Attack Roll: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) Bludgeoning damage plus 5 (2d4) Poison damage.

Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) Slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) Acid damage.

Debilitating Spores. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 12, one creature the myconid can see within 10 feet. Failure: The target takes 1d6 Necrotic damage once and gains the Poisoned condition. The target repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. After 1 minute, it succeeds automatically.

Scrying Spores (2/day). The blighted myconid expels spores within a 60 ft. radius of itself, which spreads around corners. All creatures in the area, hidden or invisible, are then revealed to it for 1 minute. If another blighted myconid is within this range, it can also use Scrying Spores to extend the effect's range even further.
