Description
A Weave Nibbler is the juvenile offspring of a Weave Eater. When a Weave Nibbler hatches, its only function is to protect its parent from spellcasters. It does not need to feed on the Weave itself unless separated from its parent, as it can suckle from the main Weave Eater for sustenance.
A Nibbler can only grow by consuming Weave energy in excess. It doesn't desire to do this unless its parent dies. Then, Nibblers attack and consume each other in order to grow as much as possible before beginning their life as an adult Eater.
Lair and Lair Actions
Like its parent Weave Eater, Nibblers are always found within a Weave Tear. Before they grow too large, it is extremely painful for a Nibbler to move and travel throughout the untorn Weave (1d10 psychic damage / min).
