Draconic Ancestry (Black). The commoner has resistance to acid damage and a breath weapon that deals acid damage.
Quarry Endurance. The commoner has Advantage on Constitution saving throws against exhaustion from extreme weather, lingering fumes, or heavy physical labor.
Multiattack. The commoner makes two Heavy Pick or Sling attacks, or replaces one attack with its Acid Breath (if available).
Heavy Pick. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage.
Sling. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) bludgeoning damage.
Acid Breath (2/Long Rest). The commoner exhales acidic energy in a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line that is 5 feet wide (commoner's choice). Each creature in that area must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 9 (2d10) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Draconic Flight (1/Long Rest). As a Bonus Action, the commoner temporarily sprouts spectral wings made of crackling acid energy on his back. The wings last for 10 minutes, until he retracts them (no action required), or until he has the Incapacitated condition. While active, he has a Fly Speed of 30 feet.
Description
A broad-shouldered Black Dragonborn male with dark, ebony-black scales that shimmer with a faint oily sheen, his deep-set obsidian eyes reflecting a quiet, tireless strength. His broad face is defined by downward-sweeping, horn-like crests and subtle chemical scar tissue along his jawline from years of handling raw, acidic peat and corrosive quarry runoff. He wears a rugged, iron-buckled leather harness over coarse canvas trousers and reinforced knee boots, both worn and stained with earth and dark mineral residue. Stoic and grounded, he holds a broad heavy pick resting steadily against his side, standing with the relaxed, immovable posture of a laborer who measures his life in honest work, heavy stones, and unyielding endurance.
